How Resize PDF works
How this tool works
Resize PDF changes the page dimensions of your document. You can pick a paper format such as A4, A3, Letter or Legal, choose DPI-based presets for scanned images, or scale pages by a percentage.
When to use it
Use it to standardize mixed page sizes into one format before printing, to enlarge a small scan to a full page, or to fit a document to the size a portal or print shop expects.
What to expect
Pages get the new dimensions you chose. When scaling, the content scales with the page; when switching paper formats, the content is placed onto the new page size, so check text-heavy pages in the result.
Limits and important notes
Resize changes page geometry, not the content itself: it cannot add missing margins or turn a blurry scan into sharp text. Very large scale factors can look soft.
A practical example
A scan delivered as a small page is enlarged to A4 with a scale factor, so it prints at a normal document size.
