How Merge PDF works
How this tool works
Merge PDF combines the pages of your uploaded files into a single PDF. You can drag the files in the queue into the order you want before processing, and the output keeps exactly that order.
When to use it
Use it when several documents belong together: monthly invoices into one archive, report chapters into one file, or scanned pages and attachments into a single upload for a portal that only accepts one PDF.
What to expect
You get one PDF containing all pages of all files, in the queue order. Text stays selectable, page content is preserved, and no pages are edited or re-rendered.
Limits and important notes
Merging does not edit page content: it cannot remove watermarks, fix broken fonts, or unify different page sizes — mixed sizes simply appear one after another. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before merging.
A practical example
A freelancer merges invoice-01.pdf, invoice-02.pdf and invoice-03.pdf into invoices-2026.pdf in one step, then uploads a single file to the accountant.
